Verizon Announces New 100MB International Data Plan for $25

With the travel season approaching, Verizon is ready to launch a completely new data package for global travelers and international men of mystery. Starting April 23, Big Red will offer 100MB of data for checking the web, sending off emails, and updating your Facebook for $25 a month. For folks in need of a bit more than just 100MB, there will be an automatic 100MB of data made available to you for an additional $25 when you approach the cap of the first 100MB of data.
Verizon has added minor standards for who can qualify for the package. Customers must have a minimum amount of payment history with Big Red and already have a domestic data plan. Lastly, people traveling to areas not covered by the Global Data Plan, but are in Verizon Global coverage areas will be charged at Pay Per Use rates, which is $0.02 per KB of data.
