Samsung Launches Music Hub in the U.S. on the Galaxy S3, Verizon Not Participating as Usual

Samsung announced this morning that their Music Hub service is now available on the Galaxy S3 here in the U.S. It's a "3-in-1 mobile music solution" that lets you upload your music collection to the cloud, stream, and purchase songs from their catalog which is supported by all 4 major record labels. With its introduction, Samsung is giving all Galaxy S3 users a free 30-day trial, which we assume means for their premium package which normally runs $9.99 a month. Once that 30-day trial is up, there is a free service that can be used as well, to purchase music from.

If you are an AT&T or US Cellular customer, you can grab the Music Hub from the Google Play store today and get to jammin'. If you are on Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile, you do not have access to the service…at all. We aren't sure why Sprint and T-Mobile were left out of the fun, but I think we all know why Verizon customers get no love. Do we need to bring up Google Wallet again? What about the 50GB Dropbox promo that was supposed to accompany the Galaxy S3? Yeah, you get the point.
